Dear Jodi,
After throughly examining this website and the meaning behind cyborgs and the entire science fiction topic, I am very impressed with your knowledge and expertise on this web site! The theme is throughout and develops quite well with theory and visuals.
The visuals contributed to this site are fantastic and I would like to comment on some specifics that I adore. My absolute favorite is of the butterfly lady done by Dwain Ortiz on the main page, it is extradordinary how the visual combines a female sexuality with the alien theme. The lady is pretty like a butterfly yet strong and aggresive like a non human. . . so colorful that she is bursting with radiance!
Another visual I adore is by Mauricio Medina and this is also a representation of a woman warrior on the main page. This image shows a woman who is strong and sexy, filled with muscle and strength . . .her face turned away seems to be angry and determined.
Lastly,"Woman" by Froilan Vicente . . .frightening visual that combines alien features with female anatomy . . .colors enhance cryptic notion of the image . . .although scary to look at . . .image portrays exactly what sci fi does . . .awesome depiction . . .
Love ,
Aisha
